- Book and drop your deposit.$deposit holds your seat and comes right off your total. Weekend spots go first, so grab yours early.
- Prep your hair.Washed, blow-dried, detangled, no heavy product. That prep is what makes your braids lay right and last.
- Come sit with me.Bring a snack, a charger, and whatever you're watching. We'll take breaks. You'll leave with hair everybody's about to ask about.

Before you come see me
Nothing here is meant to be strict — it's just what makes your install come out right and keeps everybody's day on time.
Bring your hair ready
- Washed and fully blow-dried, root to end
- Detangled — no knots, no shed hair left in
- No heavy grease, gel, or leave-in. Product makes braids slip.
- Don't trim right before. I'll tell you if you need one.
Bring with you
- hair packs — how many and what brand, or "I provide all hair"
- Snacks and a drink — we're going to be here a minute
- Phone charger and headphones
- guest policy — can she bring someone?
The deposit, plainly
$deposit books your seat and comes off your total. If life happens, just tell me at least e.g. 48 hours ahead and we'll move you. Same-day cancels and no-shows keep the deposit — not to punish anybody, but that seat was held all day and can't be filled last minute. If you're running more than e.g. 20 minutes behind, text me and I'll tell you honestly whether we can still get it done today.

Questions people actually ask
Do I bring my own hair, or do you provide it?
pick one — "I provide all the hair, it is already in the price" OR "You bring your own" If you are bringing your own, most knotless styles take number packs of brand / type — and if you want a specific color or curl pattern, that's the fun part. Text me before you buy if you're not sure and I'll tell you exactly what to get.
How should my hair be prepped before I come?
Washed, blow-dried straight, and fully detangled — root to end, no heavy product. Clean, stretched hair is what lets me part cleanly and braid without pulling, and it's the difference between braids that last six weeks and braids that look rough in two. If you'd rather I wash and blow it out for you, add that on when you book.
How long is this going to take?
Depends on the style, the size, and the length — most of my installs run range, e.g. 4 to 8 hours. Long boho and small sizes take the longest. I'll give you the honest number when you book so you can plan your whole day, and we take breaks — you're not stuck in the chair.
How much does it cost?
Starting prices are on every style above. What moves the final number is length, braid size (smaller takes longer), how much hair you want, and any color. Text me a photo of the look you want and I'll quote you before you book — no surprises when you're done.
Do you braid kids?
Yes, ages min age and up. I'm patient with the little ones, we take real breaks, and I don't fight anybody's head. Color accents are always a hit. any rule about a parent staying
Does my hair need to be a certain length?
Roughly e.g. 3–4 inches all around is enough to braid safely and have it hold. If you're not sure, send me a photo of your hair pulled straight and I'll tell you straight up.
Will it be too tight?
No. Tight is not the same as neat, and tension is how edges get lost. I braid to last without pulling your hairline — and if anything feels off while I'm working, say something right then and I'll adjust it. You should be able to smile when you leave.
How long will my braids last?
Most people get e.g. 4–8 weeks depending on the style and how you keep them up. Wrap your hair at night, keep your scalp moisturized, and don't leave them in past max weeks — that's when you start risking breakage at the roots.
Do you do takedowns?
Yes — book it as its own appointment, from $takedown price. If you're coming to me for a fresh install right after, is takedown discounted or bundled? Please don't try to rush a takedown the morning of your appointment.
Do you travel, or is it studio only?
pick one — "Studio only, you come to me" OR "Studio, plus I travel within X miles for $Y" The studio is in neighborhood.
How do I pay, and when?
The $deposit deposit comes when you book. The rest is due when we're done — I take cash / Cash App / Zelle / card / Apple Pay.
What if my question isn't here?
Just text me. Seriously — a photo of the style you want and roughly when you're free, and I'll take it from there.
